According to the Bible, several conditions must be met before Armageddon:

• Israel has to be (re)established as a state and occupy the rest of its biblical lands
• The third temple has to be rebuilt in Jerusalem on the site now occupied by Muslim mosques
• Israel has to be attacked by other nations

During the same period of time, other things predicted by the same Bible must happen, such as the invasion of Iraq (which already occurred).

These will trigger the seven years of Tribulation, which will also contain the World War III, the Armageddon, famine, a worldwide earthquake and so on. The Tribulation will start with what is known as the Rapture: millions of true believers will simultaneously vanish to God all over the Earth.

Tom LaHaye and Jenkins (see their Left Behind series of novels) are not alone to predict the Antichrist will come to power elected by the people. It looks like Pope itself has been recently warned that Antichrist will be a pacifist, ecologist and ecumenist. If many people do not seriously consider these scenarios, it should come as no surprise that Christian fundamentalists are a strong lobby, especially in United States, and authors like LaHaye and Jenkins do not hide they’ve been also called as advisers to the White House and Congress. World state leaders have always known about prophecies.

If you consider yourself a rational person and think these people are “nuts”, please give it a second thought. It looks like even Isaac Newton - maybe the greatest scientist of all times - looked at the Bible’s prophecies and took them seriously. Newton and the Bible?! How is this possible? He believed there was (coded) wisdom in the world that got lost.

Israel has recently displayed a three-century-old manuscript by Isaac Newton calculating the exact date of the Apocalypse. Based on precise dimensions of the ancient temple in Jerusalem, Newton himself reached the conclusion that the world will end, but not sooner than 2060. Compare this with the estimate given by LaHaye: between 2025 and 2050.

Back to the prophecies and all scenarios described by our Christian writers. Does not strike you at all that there are no other countries that try to see these prophecies realised, other that the richest, most democratic and powerful countries in the world?!! For a long time, we’ve been deceived by speculations that Antichrist may be Saddam Hussein, or Putin, or some other who-knows-who from some Middle-East Muslim country, a cruel dictator that will create the Apocalypse. LaHaye and Jenkins bring us in their story, with no arguments at all, a Romanian Antichrist (why not a Chinese President of US?). We’ve been afraid WWIII will rise from the cold war between the democratic West (led by America) and the communist East (led by Russia). We looked to “liberate” communist and Muslim countries and show them the gift of our democracy. And now we’re told that Antichrist will actually rise from the democratic choice of the people.

In Left Behind, Nicolae Charpatia will rise to power by his charm, his charisma, his speeches about pacifism. Everybody in the world will be crazy about him. Only his ability to move fast will justify the lack of a popular vote when he is brought to power overnight as President of his country. It doesn’t matter, because he would have been elected anyway with a huge majority. Then he’s elected the same way as secretary-general of the United Nations.

He convinces all countries to destroy all but 10% of their nuclear power. The 10% will be given to UN, as sole guarantor of the world peace. It’s obvious what will later happen. But wait, the same guy will “trigger” nuclear bombs and decimate 25% of world’s population, then show on TV and deplore what his enemies, “our enemies”, did. And anyone - but a small group of Christians - will believe him. Only after 2-3 years of power will switch to actual dictatorship.

Isn’t this amazing? To see the most precious thing you tried so much to export to other dictatorial regimes, the democracy, as your own road to Armageddon?! Congratulations to the most powerful and democratic world leaders, because they help this happen! Congratulations to you, honest citizen in a free, democratic world, that You will have the chance to be charmed by and vote for Antichrist! Exactly the same way you vote today for your Elected Deputies and Presidents.

You may ask: why are our leaders - America, Israel, Christian fundamentalists - pushing us to Armageddon? Because they warn us about the end of times, and in the same time deliberately help it happen, help Bible prophecies realise. Well, looks like it’s something in for each of them:

• Israel is God’s chosen people and, before and after Armageddon, they will be a very prosperous country.
• American leaders can get their hands on Iraq’s oil with no problems - that’s what Bible says. They can afford a bunker for darker days, you can’t.
• Christians - the true believers, not you (if you believed in … Newton) - will be called to God and vanish on the Rapture, before the Tribulation starts. They will simply look at you from Heaven, how you suffer and die in terrible death. Can you believe there are indeed groups of Christian fundamentalists that look for the Rapture and help prophecies realize with their lobbies? Look at the Rapture Index or some more simple explanation of it.

Christians will look from Heaven, world leaders will wait in bunkers, Jews know they will become rich and have their Messiah. You are the lonely and truly “Left Behind“, a puppet in anyone else’s atomic bomb game. But if you survive, by miracle, at the end of these terrible seven years, you’ll also have the chance to see Jesus return to Earth and establish his kingdom for one thousand years.

I’d say we’re already in the period of the great deception. Not from the Antichrist predicted by the Bible or Christian writers that get rich selling their stuff. But from the game practiced by our elected leaders, that we no longer question. From the same people who warn us about Armageddon, but help it happen.

The Antichrist from Left Behind tells everyone how great pacifist he is, but in fact is so eager to be attacked, to be able to retaliate and justify his acts. Don’t you already recognize this behavior? Was the invasion of Iraq - that had nothing to do with Al Qaeda and 9/11 - really justified?
